the team name of Barelang MRT is taken from an iconic bridge located in Batam, Riau Islands named Barelang, this team has the goal of creating a submarine that is automatic, strong and has a very important function for the community so that the name of this team becomes Barelang Marine Robotic Team

MRT PURVI ASV Is the first ship made by Barelang-MRT, the meaning of the word purvi comes from sansekerta languange, wihich has the meaning of 'First' with hope this will be a good first hope for the Barelang-MRT team. And this year MRT-PURVI join to International Roboboat Competition

KKCTBN 2022, Barelang MRT brought 2 ships with 1 ship named KMP MIDAI and 2nd ship named KMP RANAI which was taken from the name of the area in Natuna which is directly bound to the sea territory of a neighboring country.
